We are extremely proud of our successes as we are only a very small select kennel based in the county of Devon, UK. All our dogs live in the home as part of the family and are very much loved. Health, Conformation, Quality and Welfare are very important considerations.

Our dogs are regularly health checked to the current KC breed requirements. They are heart auscultation examined (with signed certificate) at the appropriate age by a certified veterinary cardiac specialist. All our whippets are micro-chipped with their DNA logged with the Animal Health Trust and the Kennel Club data banks for any future tracing of hereditary disease & their authenticity.

Being the highest accolade awarded by the KENNEL CLUB it is given exclusively to breeders who have achieved a 'SIGNIFICANT CONTRIBUTION TO THE BREED' and we were truly proud.

PUPPIES/LITTERS. We only have a litter when we want a puppy to show. Only using a suitable dog to enhance our own stock, ensuring that there are no known health issues, has as low a COI% as possible and will comply with the breed standard. We breed for health; temperament & quality not quantity as our record will more than show from a very limited number of litters.

HISTORY:- MIKE
I had my first whippet in 1967 from Always breeding & started showing with her. At the beginning I had the affix Benhillwood. A few years later I changed this to Palmik.
I have judged in the UK at championship show level awarding CCs 20 times and have had the honour of judging bitches at Crufts in 1996.

I have also had the pleasure of judging two SKOKLOSTER championship shows in Sweden in 2001 and The Whippet Club of New South Wales Specialty Championship Show in Sydney, Australia in 2010. The World Show Sighthound Specialty in Amsterdam 2018 & The Swedish Sighthound Club Championship Show at Vilsta 2019 Males & Puppies.
I have served on breed club committees in various capacities for over 25 years & served on the Whippet Breed Council for over 10 years. I am an honorary life member of The National Whippet Association.

HISTORY:- YVONNE
In 1995 I was given my first whippet, a blue bitch, which I showed with some success. She was the perfect introduction to the 'wonderful world of whippets'.
Over the last 20 years I have handled Palmik Whippets to their UK Champion titles & achievements.
I have spent numerous years on various committees from Horse Shows to Obedience, All Breed and a single breed club where I held the position of treasurer.
I have been passed by The UK Kennel Club to award Challenge Certificates. My first CC appointment was Boston and District Championship Show in January 2018, where I judged the males and females. My Best of Breed went on to win the Hound Group and Best in Show.
In 2022, I judged male & females at Richmond Championship Show. My Best of Breed won the Hound Group. My Best Puppy in Breed won the Hound Puppy Group.
In 2024 I judged males and females at South Wales Championship Show. My Best of Breed was shortlisted in the Hound Group. My Best Puppy in Breed achieved Hound Puppy Group 2 at her first show.

In March 2019 judged The Swedish Whippet Club Championship Show in Vilsta.

In 2022 I had the privilege of judging females at The 7th Whippet World Congress held in Padenghe, Italy.

In 2025 I had the pleasure of judging females at the Finnish Whippet Clubs Speciality. I judged the puppies and Males at the Open Show.

My next UK judging appointment is in May 2026. I will be judging Norway in 2026.
