I have owned and worked with dogs since I was 14 years old. A Countryman to my core, I started with Terriers and Lurchers and for the last 20 years I have bred Labradors.
Dogs are my passion and my purpose and I put my heart and soul into only breeding dogs that have kind temperaments and that have been fully health checked. I pride myself that my puppies make perfect family pets. The feedback that I have received over the years from Sanglier puppy owners prove that I have got it right!

Happy healthy puppies leave my kennels at 8 weeks old to all parts of the country. Many people come and visit and are happy to keep their names on a waiting list for a Sanglier Puppy. Some of my dogs have, and will be, shown at Crufts and some of my girls work for their living picking-up at local shoots. At present two of these have obtained the KC Working Gundog Certificate, which was presented to them at Crufts. I feel very proud to see my show bred chocolates working with style and enthusiasm.

I designed and built my kennels with my dogs welfare as my major concern. I believe in giving them a good diet with lots of fresh meat and plenty of exercise, and they all seem well, contented and happy with life. When I look at my dogs and see smiling eyes looking back at me, I know that all is well.
Our dogs are hip and elbow scored, eye tested yearly and Optigen clear. Our Stud dogs - Sika is CNM clear, Dude is CNM and EIC clear, and Yogi is CNM and EIC clear as well. All our dogs have a perfect scissor bite, a very important and necessary feature often ignored!

I am lucky to be able to give my dogs a daily swim in one of the farm's three ponds which they do right through the year. The only time they decline is in the depths of winter when even the toughest of the bunch wisely decides to give it a miss!

The dogs love their daily walk around the farm. Apart from dinner time it is the highlight of their day. It gives me so much pleasure to see them all charging around in different directions, chasing, rolling and playing whatever the weather. Although, when it is wet and cold, the oldest of my girls often decide that the wisest plan is a very quick whizz out before popping back indoors again smartly!

Whether it be going for a swim or out on a walk, our dogs always enjoy themselves and have a zest for life. They love to play and have fun, just like any other dog and are given every opportunity to do so on our Wealden farm.



As you can see our dogs welfare is important to us. Yes, we breed labradors, but we also believe in giving our dogs an enjoyable, happy and healthy life. By ensuring this, we think it comes through in our puppies making them strong, healthy and confident.

Please call for further information and details of when our next litter is due, we usually have a waiting list in operation. I encourage prospective owners of a Sanglier puppy to come and visit the kennels to meet the parents, grandparents and often great grandparents!
