All appropriate health tests are carried out.

Matings are rigorously researched and planned from stud dogs across the UK to ensure complimentary pedigree, health test results and personality traits. This is the platform on which everything else is built for the rest of the puppy’s life.

All Praingold puppies are monitored 24/7 for the first 2 weeks of their life and engaged in a comprehensive program of noise and situation familiarisation from the time they open their eyes and can hear.

They are socialised with people of all types and live indoors in a household with other pets. They are exposed to all sorts of noises, from fireworks and gunfire to the more normal household ones like washing machines and hoovers, so that as long as training continues at their new homes they should be unfazed by most things they come across in later life.

They are regularly taken out by car from five weeks old to make sure leaving their litter and moving into their new household is as stress free as possible - for everyone!

The resulting dogs are highly intelligent, responsive, trainable, physically able and a joy to be around.
