Neil & I have both been brought up in the countryside with dogs, horses & other domestic & farm animals.

I owned my first pure bred labradors some 20 odd years ago & have always had a great love for the breed.

When Neil & I first met being a shooting person & having owned spaniels in the past he became interested in the working gundogs In 2005 we acquired Tudorcourt Mark from Ridgeway Labradors. Teal was a fully trained gundog & proven stud dog, very much a man's dog he became Neil's right arm.

Sire: F.T.Ch. Baildonian Baron of Craighorn, Dam: F.T.W. Calfountain Gypsy Rose.

Teal was a strong study type, nice looking, excellent temperament, produced some lovely litters & enjoyed his days out on the shoots. Sadly he passed away in September 2012.

In May 2007 we acquired Lady Bower Lilly (Ellie), a small black labrador bitch, but a lovely girl, fantastic temperament & although I did do some working tests with her before she had her litters, she is now my main picking-up dog,she just loves to work. Sadly Ellie passed away December 2020

Sire: F.T.Ch. Millcottage Pathfinder, 2005 IGL Champion, winner of Retriever Championship 2005, IFT Champion and 2007 Irish KC Champion Winner, Dam: Lochmuir Ally.

The other members of the clan are; TJ who I kept out of Teal & Ellie's last litter, good looking,picking-up dog, showing potential in working tests etc., nice temperament & good pedigree. Jacko a Springer Spaniel, excellent temperament,cracking working dog & handsome looking. Blue a blue roan cocker, a very kind tempered, handsome looking boy & a good working dog. Sadly TJ passed Way December 2023 & Jacko August 2024.

We are not a large breeder, just a small family concern & only have the occasional litter.
