In 2002 we purchased our first Rhodesian Ridgeback, the late Jarhiba Gyasi from the Jarhiba Kennels. From the moment we brought her home she settled into our family as though she had always been there. She shares our love of horses, which also are included in our lives.

We wanted Gyasi to have a doggy companion so in late 2004 after carefull planning we mated her to Champion Gunthwaite ActionMan from the renouned Gunthwaite kennels. From this litter we kept Afreya. Mother and daughter do everything together and are constant companions for our son and his friends.

To add to our doggy companions in 2014 I decided that I wanted another breed of dog an acquired our first ever American Akita. Zobaka Akita Villa (Shaakhira). She has been shown very successfully and has a fabulous temperament.

We are fortunate to live in a beautifull part of the country where our dogs are able to live the 'good life'. We are looking forward to having generations of these wonderfull breeds living with us as part of our family in our country home.

Having 5 Rhodesian Ridgebacks and an American Akita is such good fun we thought why not have more! this has now grown to 5 Rhodesian Ridgebacks and 1 American Akita.
