Sadly we lost Becky on July 17th 2009 at the grand old age of 15 years 2 months. She will be greatly missed but never forgotten, as we have such great memories of the life we were honoured to share with such a special girl.

Sh Ch Moonlight Serenade JW

This was our first Weimaraner and what a super dog she was. Anyone who has been around long enough will remember Spice and the lovely nature and temperament she had, everyone she met soon became her friend.
Fortunatetly this lovely temperament has passed on through the generations of Mabanika dogs and bitches and hopefully with careful breeding will continue.

Spice was by Sh Ch Kisdons Derring Do x Honky Tonk Lady and bred by Paul & Gloria Owens of Koromas Gundogs.

Mabanika is small select succcessful kennel in Northumberland breeding 'true to type' Weimaraner puppies from our home bred Champion dog and our championship show winning bitches. We strive to keep the exceptional nature and temperament that our stock has, and for that we have been very select in the dogs we have chosen for our bitches over the years.

We have owned the breed for some 24 years now and have recently joined the Kennel Club Accredited Breeder Scheme.

We are members of The Weimaraner Club of Great Britain, and The Weimaraner Association.

We both enjoy showing our dogs, and we both judge the breed. Mason judges at Championship Show level and Barbara at Open Show level.

All our dogs are hip scored, and have well below average scores.

All our stock are fed and reared on a Natural Balanced Diet,
