Breezybrook Gundogs is a kennel run by Jacquie Ward & Jim Munday in North Bedfordshire. We specialise in working cocker spaniels, and our dogs are required to work extremely hard as we are picking up or beating 3-4 days each week during the shooting season.
We currently stand 7 dogs at stud, all proven as stud dogs and working dogs. All stud dogs are DNA tested for prcd-PRA, FN, AMS and AON as a minimum and all are CLEAR. There are now Breezybrook sired dogs in Germany, Spain, Portugal, France, Italy, Belgium, Austria, Denmark and USA.
From time to time we have selectively bred litters and we aim to breed for working ability, conformation and temperament, and whilst we prefer our puppies to go to working / trialling / agility homes, we do agree they make fabulous country pets.

Breezybrook Trouper
Trouper was a great working dog. He was our foundation stud dog for many years putting his stamp on his offspring. He will be forever Jacquie's favourite dog and will be impossible to replace.
He was by FTCh Danderw Druid, winner of the 2006 championship.
Trouper was a hard hunting dog who would face any cover.
He had tons of drive and was very stylish, in fact a pleasure to watch.
A great gamefinder, a natural retriever with a real soft mouth.
His conformation was superb, all this with a wonderful temperament.
Trouper has produced many offspring from field trial winners, working gundogs and great agility dogs.
Most of our breeding plans are based around the Trouper/Druid lines. Whilst we greatly appreciate the qualities of the Danderw Druid line, we think the addition of the Wernffrwd Dai Bach breeding (from Troupers dam) really adds great qualities to Troupers pedigree.

We currently stand 7 dogs at stud, all proven studs and DNA Health tested clear prcd-PRA, FN, AMS & AON.
All our stud dogs are also proven workers in the shooting field.
We are experienced stud dog handlers and can help get even the most awkward of bitches mated.

Cressett Chocolate Drop of Breezybrook

Our foundation bitch Chocolate was by FTCh Wernffrwd Dai Bach, & out of FTW Sandford Daisy of Cressett.
She was the dam of our foundation stud dog Breezybrook Trouper.
She used to be one of the most relied upon dogs of the picking up team.
Her ability to follow a blood scent was amazing, hardly ever failing to find that elusive runner.
She was still working at 15 yrs old going picking up 2 - 3 days every week during the season.
She was sadly put to sleep in October 2013 after a stroke. I hope all my dogs will lead such healthy, active lives as Chocolate did.
