SOME BACKGROUND

I have been breeding dogs for over 50 yrs and began in the seventies under my old affix of Marcrest"

I started when I was 12yrs old with a German Shepherd.Then having been given a German Shepherd puppy for my birthday I was hooked!!

I bred my first litter when I was 16 and had my first judging appointment when I was 19.

Under my Doddridge affix I now own 8 whippets and occasionally have puppies for sale - but only to the best, loving homes.

When planning a litter, my main priorities are health and temperament. All my dogs are family dogs first and foremost.
Our whippets are beautiful with the most loving temperaments and superb quality that can win in any company at any level but are family dog first of course


When living in France we attended a few shows and are really proud of our placings with Doddridge Amir winning open dog and taking the Cacib for best dog and his litter sister Doddridge Look at Me winning open bitch and also taking Cacib for best bitch

We were so thrilled at how well she did in France and thank the judges who have thought so highly of her

We have now been to several shows and been highly placed in all of them including more CAC,s and CACIB,s
We also have a new member to our family,she is REUBICIA SILK BLOSSOM avec DODDRIDGE,her dam was bred by me Doddridge Coco Chanel of Reubicia x Oakbark Moment of Impact
She has never been shown so thought we would have a go and so proud of her,she behaved perfectly
She also won open bitch,CAC and CACIB,what a debut,so proud of her and a big THANK YOU to Pat Jackman for letting us have her
At Angers 2017 she won open bitch CACIB and BOB under German judge owner of the famous Gentle Mind Kennel but following this she had a really bad accident and suffered bad nerve damage in her neck
She has made a remarkable recovery but I think she will always have a slight limp so will never be shown again,This makes me very sad but as at first it was thought her leg would have to be amputated I am thrilled that with lots of hard work we have managed to save her leg
She is very happy and full of life and runs as if there was never anything wrong and that is more important than anything

Now 31/2 yrs later we have returned to the UK and settling into our home in Cornwall
The dogs love running on the beaches everyday,whatever the weather
It's so nice to be back
Our homebred youngster Doddridge Moe't ex UK,US Ch.Palmik Strike it Right X Doddridge Look at Me did very well in France winning BPIB at 3 out of 4 shows and her sister D Mikado owned by Stephy Veihhuesan winning the other one

Our super star Boris (Doddridge Secret Passion) has had a great puppy career finishing by being placed 5th at Crufts 2019,we were so thrilled by this but he is also a great character at home
His sire is our late Charles (Doddridge Delft) his dam our Lailah (Reubicia Silk Blossom avec Doddridge)
He is my special gift from Charles before Charles crossed the rainbow bridge aged 13 yrs
