I am a Kennel Club Assured Breeder using all the mandatory and recommended health tests plus additional DNA tests.

Based in South West Wales, we have 5 lovely labs (2 girls, 3 boys) who live inside as part of the family and take life in their stride, just as happy chilling out on the sofa, running around the beach or in the show-ring.

I no longer breed because of my own poor health. We do however own health tested proven stud dogs and have great handling support nearby if required.

Our eldest girl Hally was bought as a family pet with no intention to ever breed or show her. However, times change and she gave us two lovely litters; Hally went to the Bridge in December 2013 leaving a massive hole in our lives - her spirit and character lives on through her children and grand-children; we have Hally's grand-daughter here and get regular updates from puppy owners, particularly Brandy, Hope, Carys, Dyson, Holly, Millie, Maisie, Elle and Barney as well as owners of pups sired by our boys.

Clover joined us in 2006. Her unique outlook on life has provided us with many hours of humour, pride and exasperation - truly a "once in a lifetime dog" - we would like to thank Penny Carpanini for entrusting us with this beautiful girl.

Our hobby is showing, which we do regularly at all levels from Companion to Championship shows; we exhibited at Crufts in 2009/10, 2012/13/14/15 and will be there in 2016 with Dylan and his son DJ.

I am very lucky that my dogs continue to be shown thanks to my partner and some inspirational outstanding friends.

I am on the Labrador Breed Council Breed Specialist judging C list and have also been privileged to judge Irish Setters and Weimaraners at Open level.

Dylan is our gorgeous yellow boy lovingly bred by Judith Keating of Whistletyne Labradors. He really is as much of a sweetheart as he looks; his gentle laid back nature nature and great sense of fun has truly captured our hearts and those he meets.

We can't thank Judith enough for allowing him to come and live with us - a true gent among Labradors.

Dylan qualified for Crufts 2012 & 2013 and in May 2014 (handled by Sarah Robinson, Roboeljo Labradors) gained his stud book number qualifying him for life.

Dylan is hip-scored 3/4, elbow scored 0, holds a full current clear eye certificate (to Nov 2016) and is DNA Tested Clear / Normal for Optigen g-PRA, CNM, EIC and Optigen RD/OSD.

He is producing Crufts qualifying super temperament babies with amazing personalities. His daughter had Best Puppy in show, qualifying her for Crufts 2015 - his son DJ will be joining him at Crufts 2016

He also has a number of daughters involved in gun-dog training - DJ's sister will join her show-bred mother out in the field.

Dylan is a gentle attentive stud available for use to approved bitches.

DJ joined his dad - our Dylan at Crufts 2016.

Lovingly bred by Stourmere Gundogs - I felt I'd been transported back in time taking the call asking to use Dylan;

this predominantly working kennel owned and worked a beautiful show-bred bitch who I remembered (along with her dam and siblings) from their early time in the show-ring.

The litter, and DJ in particular delighted in every way; my life is so much richer for sharing it with this beautiful boy who has his parents sensitive natures combined with the most wicked sense of fun, and a love of showing that places him alongside Clover. I never thought I would be blessed with such wickedness and fun again.

At 23 months, DJ's enjoyed a nice start to his show career with several best puppy and puppy group placings, a number of Best of Breeds, a RBOB and adult group placings.

He is DNA Tested Optigen g-PRA, RD/OSD and CNM clear and holds a current clear eye certificate to November 2016.

Bruce (aka Vicford Aladdin Arghishalee (A.I.)) is from the first ever litter bred by Vicford Labradors.

He loves life and has a wicked sense of fun - he is sired by the well known Int CH Carpenny Scenario and like his dad (and two uncles), he's got 0/0 hips and elbows. He is genetically clear for g-PRA and CNM and holds a current clear eye certificate (to January 2017).

Bruce joined Dylan in the show-ring in Aug 2013 and has delighted us with his results gaining several first placing's and Best Puppy in Breed with Puppy Group placing's, and a Best of Breed., qualifying for Crufts 2014.

He is very bright & biddable and can often be seen walking alongside my scooter / wheelchair

Clover was our first show girl, lovingly bred by Penny Carpanini.

With a real 'butter wouldn't melt' mix, she is an adorable minx with a unique outlook on life who captivates everyone she meets

Clover has taken some nice results in the show ring including numerous 1st places, 18 Best of Breed, 5 Reserve Best of Breed, Gundog Group 2, 7 Best Puppy in Breed, Gundog Puppy Gp 2, Best AV Gundog Puppy, 2 Best Gundog in show, Best Puppy in Show and Best Opposite Sex in show

She qualified for Crufts 2009 and 2010 and was great fun to show.

Now nearly 11, she is sadly retired from the ring, spending her days keeping the sofa warm and keeping us (dogs and humans) in line.

****** Clover was 'Miss December' in the Pets at Home Labrador Yellow Traditional Calendar 2012******
