What a day - incapacitated after adominal surgery just over a week ago, my good friend Sara Woodward took me to the show and this was a team effort with me standing and Sara running Chieftan. To win Reserve Best of Breed as well as Best Puppy was reward enough, but in a well represented Puppy Group I was thrilled when Chieftan won the Group. After Tamu's litter sister Tokaji American Dreamz of Silverbriar) had won Best AVNSC Hound earlier in the day, I had said to Jess (who owns her) 'wouldn't it be funny if you won the Hound Group and went Best in Show and I won the Gundog Puppy Group and went Best Puppy in Show' - my prediction came true and that's exactly what happened!
