Thank you all for a good entry. Quality in most classes and some close calls today. It's two years since I have judged this charming breed and I feel on today's evidence things are on the right track. My only concern within the breed is that several exhibits were missing. A true white tip on the end of the tail, a breed specific point which is highly desirable.

PD (5) Super class to judge all five were litter mates. 1 Parker, Stevens, Sipperly, Birkhall Hallam's Brodie at Serenaker, headed this class on his over all quality. After judging I was reminded that I had awarded his father the cc at the Hound Show 2 years ago! So correct in head which is equally balanced and a perfect wedge shape, excellent eye and expression, large well placed mobile ears which where used to good advantage. Super neck with crest, clean in shoulder, body development forward for one so young. It is true to say he needs to fill a little in forechest but obviously this will come with maturity. His bone and feet are correct, stacked he gave off a stunning profile, on the move he was purposeful on the out and back and in profile he gave off a lovely outline. Presented in excellent condition. No hesitation BP in the challenge for the cc. I was mindful of his tender age but I simply could not deny him the CC a champion without doubt. 2 McLaughlin's Birkhall Badry By Shimitoki, similar remarks apply here; so they should being his brother! This one I thought matched more closely to the winner at this stage. Again lovely in head, eye and expression, large ears which were mobile. Lovely in neck which has good length, body proportion correct as was his bone and feet. Just a little more ring training would enhance his chances, again though when settled moved ok. 3 Payne & Dunlop's Birkhall Bakari of Habiba, completing a trio of quality exhibits.
