Willsanburg Libertin Avec Bourgeoisie
Manchester Championship Show
23rd January 2010
Judge : Mr Glynn Payne
Breed : Dogue De Bordeaux
2nd Place Dogue De Bordeaux Puppy Dog (13 entries)
Another good day for Hugo even though he was a little out of sorts, taking a brilliant second place against the lovelyTommy Gun so a reversal of last weeks result at Boston.
The judge Glynn Payne was fantastic today, he clearly had a good knowledge of the Mollosoid breeds and gave every dog the fullest of his attention, a real pleasure to watch and I do not think that anyone could have any room for complaints with his decisions.
The only downside of the day for ourselves was that we decided to move Hugo to the car due to it being very hot inside the hall, and whilst doing so pick up some pigs ears for the gang at home.
During this time, Tommy Gun won best dog and the judge called Hugo back into the ring to take part in the judging for Reserve Best Dog.
Sadly we missed this, so we will never know if it could have been a puppy 1 & 2 (breed history I would imagine at Champ level) but its really nice to know that the judge thought our boy was worthy to be called back.
Well done to all the winners, great to catch up with so many friends as always and a special thankyou to judge Glynn Payne for his placing today,
Next stop Crufts!!
