This was the Bracco Italiano Society's first open show,twenty years after Jonathan & Liz Shaw(Sentling) introduced them into the UK,& ten years after the club was founded. Brac gained 2nd place in a strong open class of much older mature dogs (the winner of this class went onto BIS so Brac was beaten only by the Best in Show winner) Brac then received this comment verbally from Judge Dr Gianercole Mentasti ( Italian Breed Specialist)"This dog has a superb head ,absolutely typical ,do not lose it." This was the icing on the cake for us, as we were also celebrating our 34th wedding anniversary.
