Critique: Mantle dog, who is every inch a Dane displaying the required, but sadly elusive, dash and dare both standing and on the move. Whilst he lacks the preferred full white collar his colour is within the standard and his undeniably good construction and movement took him to the top of the class. Super head, strong yet not overdone, with true expression although I would prefer a tighter eye. Excellent straight front which is well filled, super bone and cat like feet. His neck is set well into correct shoulders, however cleaner withers would complete a super forehand. In very good condition with firm topline and loin, correct croup and turn of stifle. Terrific forward reach, he stode out well with drive from the rear. At 17months, and being a big lad, he is not yet fully mature. Earned more than a second glance in the challenge.
