The rest of Europe and most parts of the world including S. America, Asia and Australia a different method of exhibitig the GSD exists. Normally in this country our shows are licensed by the kennel club but with their permission for the last two years we have staged a uk sieger show (held under WUSV rules-world union of German Shepherds), this is helping to bring us in line with all the other countries.
At these shows there are just 3 classes per sex after any puppy classes that may be held) 12-18 mths---18-24mnths---24mnths +. Up to the age of 2 the top grade a dog can get is SG (translation very good) and the top grade an adult can get in this country is V (excellent). It is the grading which is of the greatest significance to the exhibitor.
