The show entry of nearly 900 had an entry of 178 puppies covering 23 breeds, the Best of Breed line up contained 12 dogs from these breeds. Geilo was awarded Best of Breed by specialist judge Michael Forte of Ireland. He went on to win the Group and followed this later in the day with BEST IN SHOW 2 - This capped a great day as it is unusual for a Bernese to do so well in the Group and Best in Show line up.
