AV PUPPY STAKES

Thank you to all those who stayed to seek my opinion, especially as I was drafted in at the last minute and was not the scheduled judge. I was totally spoiled for choice as there were some really lovely, quality puppies and I could have easily made two shortlists! Thank you also to my steward and to the Society for inviting me in for this totally enviable job.
I shortlisted seven including an impressively mature Bulldog and an eye catching Swiss Shepherd I was loath to let go but my final choices were:

1. Nicholls’ Shyllar Turn Back The Clock, just under 7 months B/W Akita bitch who presented a very smart picture on the stack and moved with great composure for one so young. Dark, balanced head with alert expression from a lovely almond eye, strong neck, compact body of depth standing on well boned legs with tight feet. Absolutely loved her!
