Red with white blaze to chest and black mask (2.5yrs) . Typical Stafford head shape on this boy, which is broad with correct angle of stop and pleasing muzzle length. Housing a perfect scissor bite, nothing over done here and clean as a whistle throughout. Neat , tidy rose ears/ear set, and round eyes set correctly which are dark enough for his coat colour. He has good all round body proportions. Straight front, very good feet, tight and well padded. Very good spring of rib with correct brisket depth, good underline with desired tuck at the loin. Excellent top line standing and on the move. Leading to a sound back which is well muscled with good bend of stifle. His movement is effortless and very sound complimented by a pleasing pump handle tail carriage, but I would like to see him a bit more assertive up and down the mat. Put down in superb fit, hard condition and was only rivalled by one other on his condition here today and she was withdrawn. Although this boy is a tad heavier all round than my personal preference, he is of excellent type and condition and deserved his win here today. Showed a bit of spirit in the walk round for best dog, nice to see him on his toes-quality boy - well done and credit to his owners for the work put in to get and keep him in his condition. BD & BOS
