Strongly muscled, squarely built dog with lovely proportions put down in coarse coat and firm fettle. Looked capable of doing a good days work in the field. Typical expression in lean, well defined head, a spongy nose and ears well folded. Chest broad and deep. Shoulders well laid, good bone and legs. Tight feet. Good width and length to thighs. Strong loin and quarters with tail well set. His movement was unhurried and effortless. DCC and BOB.
