Madi gave birth on the 13th January 2003, 2 days earlier than expected. Perhaps that was because she was carrying 11 puppies!! She gave birth to 7 naturally and the final 4 were delivered by cesar. Unfortunately only 3 from the cesar survived, so we have a beautiful litter of 10 puppies, Unfortunately one of the girls died at 2 days old. The puppies will be 5 weeks old tomorrow, 17th February, and are progressing every day. We are going to double the space available to them today as they are now very active when they are awake. Most of their day is spent eating followed by long periods of sleep as they are too full to do anything else!! Their characters are starting to develop and on of the girls likes climbing up onto the pig rail at the back of the box, walking along until she comes to the end, where she falls of onto her nose! This doesn't seem to bother her too much, as she gets back up and does the same thing!!
