Quality Dual-Purpose Litter – Repeat Mating

We are delighted to announce a confirmed pregnancy due mid May 2026. These puppies are expected to have excellent temperaments, strong working ability and quality conformation. A full daughter from the previous litter will be available to view.

Dam – Tikka

Tikka is my homebred bitch and a true dual-purpose dog, enjoying success both in the show ring and in the working field.

Although she is not shown heavily, whenever she is exhibited she consistently places within the top four in her classes. She has qualified for Crufts three times, achieving 1st, 2nd and 3rd places in the BASC Working Classes. At this year’s Crufts she was also handled in the Gamekeepers Young Handler class by my 5-year-old daughter.

In the field, Tikka continues to make me extremely proud. She has a natural hunting ability and strong drive, and over the last season she has matured into a fantastic working dog. She has been out weekly throughout the season and has become a real asset to the picking-up team. She excels on runners and blinds, often finding wounded birds with little to no handling required.

At home, Tikka is a very affectionate and gentle dog with a heart of gold. She has grown up around children and is calm and settled in the house. For the past couple of years she has also worked as a Pets as Therapy volunteer dog, regularly visiting our local secondary school where students spend time reading to her and enjoying a calm break from their busy schedules.

Sire – Elk (Elvis)

Elk, known as Elvis, comes from consistent line breeding, inheriting his qualities from his dam Duncansby Dieta and granddam Duncansby Cassie.

He has a superb temperament with both people and other dogs and is a strong, muscular dog who covers ground with ease and pace while maintaining great style. He carries his head correctly and is always working the wind, whether back or cheek wind.

Elvis loves water and has a very soft mouth, regularly returning runners alive. He is intelligent, easy to handle and a very quick learner. He is used for grouse counting and is shot over weekly throughout the season, proving himself to be a true bird-finding machine who impresses everyone who sees him work.
