We are very excited and looking forward to the arrival of these exceptional puppies. Both parents have outstanding health test results and have been matched for superb temperament, intelligence and pedigree.
The sire, known as Bear, KC name Fantasy Fly Donald Duck, needs no introduction as he is renowned for his Champion lineage and his extensive health testing.
Lotta , KC name Muldan Tributary of Broombriggs,is first and foremost a loved family pet here at our countryside home. She has a wonderful pedigree alongside her super physical shape but above all, she is a calm, affectionate, biddable girl who has been a dream. The puppies will have the best beginning they could possibly have and I will be keeping one of the puppies myself. We have previously bred puppies who have gone on to be fully trained guide dogs, assistance dogs, agility and working dogs, plus Cruft qualifiers in addition to wonderful family pets. We have carefully studied and chosen a superb stud; the outstanding and well-renowned 'Bear'. Bear boasts an impressive 45 Champions in his pedigree, representing some of the finest European breeding. He has a wonderful temperament, to match his superb credentials, and excellent health tests. He is calm and affectionate yet fun-loving and eager to please. This pairing has a low COI of 5.2 being below the breed average of 6.4 which ensures there is no adverse effect of inbreeding.
The puppies will be raised for the full 8 weeks within our home, and as such will be exposed to all the sights and sounds necessary to ensure a smooth transition into their forever family environment. We play a Puppy Sounds CD to accustom the puppies gradually to all noises including fireworks, thunder and trains, to name just a few. They will all be microchipped by our vet, who will also give them a thorough check-up (heart, weight, eyes, testicles, mouth, palate and ears) at least once and usually on two occasions before they leave for their new homes and will receive a veterinary health certificate. They will also be registered with the Kennel Club and receive 5 weeks free insurance. In addition to this they will also be regularly treated with worming and flea treatments through the vets, and will go home supplied with a minimum of a week’s supply of their regular food. I am happy to have my vet administer the first vaccination, but I will discuss this with prospective owners and advise them to consult their own vet (many wish to provide both parts of the vaccine themselves), as it must be by the same manufacturer due to it being a two part vaccine. Failure to consult the vet first could result in the puppy having three injections and more chemicals than strictly necessary or advised.
We anticipate demand for these exceptional puppies to be high. You will be invited to visit the new arrivals, Mum and myself at the age of 4 weeks when new owners can choose their puppy in order of the list of interest. A deposit is only payable after you have visited to view the puppies, Mum and my set up here. It is nice to bring along an old towel or t-shirt which I will put with the puppies during their last few nights with us. This then comes home with the puppy and really helps with the settling in period. You will be kept fully informed all the way through the process, with lots of videos and photos showing progress and development. I am always happy to offer any advice and ongoing support should you require this. Please note that we wish our puppies to go to secure, loving homes and may request references and details of your home environment. We are also willing to supply yourselves with a list of our previous puppy owners should you wish to confirm details and also receive references about ourselves. For further information please telephone or email an enquiry.
