We are pleased to confirm that we are expecting a second litter from our much loved girl Briar (Lynesykes Black Octavia). We have had the opportunity to repeat our mating from last year with the stunning and very talented FtCh Bellspaddle Mungo.

This has been a well planned, thought out litter with both sire and dam suitably health screened, having great hip and elbow scores, clear eye tests and DNA clear. Both are from working lines, wonderfully natured and producing puppies that are suited to both working and active family homes. Our litter is due at the beginning of September with puppies ready to go to their new homes at the end of October 2025.

Sire: Mungo (FtCh Bellspaddle Mungo)
Mungo has always been a very easy talented dog. He ran in two novice trials, coming second in the first one, and won the Lincolnshire Novice Stake two weeks after his second birthday.He had numerous awards in his first year in open trials.In the 2024 season he won the Lincolnshire two day open and the Arfon one day open, making him up to FtCh. (He also gained two B qualifications). He has been a remarkably easy and compliant dog to train. He has fantastic game finding ability and loves water and takes on heavy cover. Mungo handles game well and has no faults. He is a lovely dog to have around the family and other dogs. He is a very valued member of the picking up team. Mungo is dominant black.


Dam: Briar (Lynesykes Black Octavia)
Briar is a very pretty, athletic girl with lots of style when she is hunting. She has been a pleasure to train and loves to work, whether that be sat on a peg, in a pigeon hide or out picking up. She is steady, quiet and has a fantastic nose.

She makes for a wonderful family dog and has such a lovely, gentle temperament, especially with our children. At home she is very laid back and is happy to ‘switch off’ and have a snooze during quieter moments.


Puppies are kennel club registered and lovingly reared in our rural home surrounded by our other dogs, children, chickens, noises and smells. They spend their time with us as part of our family and will be raised with all the sights and sounds of a busy household. These puppies will make ideal working, competitive or pet dogs and well socialised with adults and our children!
