That was the short version! Please see the following and each dog's individual pages here on Champdogs for more info........
Mum Ailsa is our stunning KC registered pedigree harlequin Great Dane with the most wonderful temperament, adored by everyone she meets. She is an all round stunning girl, fit and healthy, such a happy, well natured dog and our beloved pet. She is one of the most health tested Great Danes in the UK. Both her and Quinn are being trained to be therapy and support dogs working in the local acute hospital.
Dad Mwynglawdd Quin's a Qibbler (pet name Quinn with 2 Ns) is our handsome, homebred mantle stud dog. He is a top quality KC registered, pedigree Great Dane who has such presence we sometimes call him 'The Mighty Quinn'. He is a solid, very well put together, true to type Great Dane with the most wonderful temperament. He is truly a gentle giant who lives in the house with us like all our dogs do and is first and foremost our family pet.
Both Ailsa and Quinn are extensively health tested:
✔Hips and Elbows: Ailsa has amazing 0:3 hips and 0 elbows (awaiting Quinn's results, the top orthopaedic vet who we take our dogs to to be hip and elbow scored says they look to be excellent) - will confirm as soon as known
✔Both have a current clear BVA eye test as recommended by the Kennel Club. We have been doing BVA eye tests for our Danes for years. The Kennel Club has finally decided that this should be a recommended test for the breed, hooray.
✔ Clear for IMGD as recommended by the Kennel Club and also Clear for every currently testable condition that can affect Great Danes like DM, HUU, Ichthyosis, LEMP +++ and 100s of other genetic conditions that can affect Great Danes and also dog breeds in general. This ensures that puppies are guaranteed clear for IMGD and every single condition that Great Danes are currently testable for.
✔ Heart tested and all round vet checked as fit to breed.
✔ Very low Coefficient of Inbreeding (degree of relatedness) of just 1.2%. The breed average is 4.3%. The lower the CoI the lower the risk of the puppies having health issues.
This will be a lovely rainbow litter. Quinn does not carry harlequin so is an ideal match for Ailsa, safely producing harlequin, mantle and other colours plus with him carrying blue half the litter will be black and half blue. Our prices start at £2000.
Ours is a busy house with my parents as well as both of us living here and there is always someone home keeping an eye on the puppies during their first 8 weeks here with us; such a critical time in their development. Puppies have been brought up in the house and are used to various household noises and well socialised, used to people, cats and other dogs, chickens, ducks, goats and other animals. They have been introduced to car travel, crates, toilet training etc.. No expense will be spared with this litter. I have a Level 3 Ofqual Qualification in Dog Breeding And Puppy Socialisation (thoroughly recommended, ask me for more details) and practice a mild form of ENS from 3-16 days old followed by an individualised programme of socialisation and preparation for their life with you, I am a Council Licensed and Inspected Breeder and passionate about dogs; they are my world.
Puppies will be fully Kennel Club registered and come with a five generation pedigree, vet checked, microchipped, vaccinated [unless you choose to make your own arrangements], flea treated, wormed, come with 4 weeks of free insurance, a bag of the best quality specialist food and a massive puppy pack which includes a slow feeder bowl, a puppy blanket smelling of mum and the rest of the litter and much, much more.
Please only contact us if you have fully considered and researched what having a Great Dane puppy will mean and are 100% committed to providing them a 5* loving, forever home. (Please - no full time workers, no timewasters and no photo collectors)
