Due to time wasters we once again have a dog available from this fantastic litter. Puppies are truly stunning and fantastic examples of the breed.

A carefully planned and much anticipated litter, the first of Stourmere’s litters in 4 years.

Dam, Gylly is beautiful and loving girl. She is athletic, intelligent and keen to please. Gylly is my husband’s first working dog, and has proven to be very bidabble and shows natural ability in her gundog training, a testament to her fantastic pedigree (she is by Ftch Arcklebear Caribou).
She has worked very lightly on our local shoot, as both a great peg dog, picking up dog and even takes to the cover like a spaniel. Despite her being brought into our home with a view to being a working dog, she is first and foremost a much loved family member, switching off at home either curled up on the sofa, or keeping my husband company while he works from home.
She is excellent with children (our own 18mo daughter) and animals and loves people. You can often find her in the garden with a stick and is a phenomenal swimmer, spending as much time in the river or canal as she can!

Sire, Hudson has a fantastic temperament, which was one of the most important factors for us when choosing a stud dog. He is very kind and soft natured however resilient enough to handle the stresses of training and working. He is a big, athletic and incredibly strong Labrador with a lot of bone.
Hudson is a fast and powerful hunting dog, getting his nose down immediately however he is also extremely responsive and easy to handle and train. A fantastic water retriever and steady as a rock. He will sit to shot and is a natural carrier with dummies and game, picking up anything in front of him be that dummies, fur or feather.

Hudson has started his competition career, placing 3rd in his first test at only 10 months old. He has since spent the 2023 test season competing gaining 4 wins and 5 placings. In 2024 Hudson won his first Novice test he entered only dropping one point. In the 24/25 trialling season Hudson unfortunately only got one run in a trial but he finished this trial, picking every bird and handling the day calmly, showing tremendous talent and promise for the future.



Born during the day on the 27th, Gylly had a wonderfully straightforward whelping, producing 5 girls and 3 boys. All yellow (fox red shade of yellow) she has taken to motherhood like a duck to water.


The puppies will initially be brought up in the house, being exposed to loud household appliances before being moved out into the kennel once a bit older. They will be exposed to crates, kennels, chickens and the occasional sheep that are kept in the field adjecent to our home. They will be well socialised and used to other dogs and children. All going well they will be introduced to toilet training as part of their daily schedule.

Puppies will be Kennel Club registered, microchipped, vaccinated and wormed.

As part of your puppy pack, they will have Petplan's 4 weeks free insurance and, some puppy food (will be raw fed), a blanket and toy that smells familiar to them, and information sheet etc.
