We are expecting a litter of smooth haired miniature dachshund puppies from our much loved family pet Evangeline.

Evangeline is the most loving sweet natured little dog and a best friend to our young daughters. She loves everyone and has a fairly impressive level of obedience! Evangeline is the ultimate lap dog but also loves hiking, going out running with my husband, swimming, days out shooting and helping out with the horses! She is a beautiful silver dapple so we may see this, chocolate dapple or silver/chocolate and tan in her litter. The sire of the litter is Ralph, an adorable chocolate and tan dog who has a perfect affectionate nature and a fantastic example of the breed with the reassurance of additional health testing. We bred Evangeline ourselves and have her mum- Penelope at home too.

I am a veterinary surgeon with many years experience breeding dogs both in a work capacity and personally hobby breeding from time to time. Our litter has been bred with the utmost care and attention with the health, happiness and quality of the puppies prioritised.
The puppies health will be monitored throughout their time with us and they will progress to their new homes fully wormed, with their first injections and microchipped. The window for social and cognitive development begins whilst the puppies will still be in our care; we aim to expose them to day-to-day experiences and both human and canine socialisation to assure their future confidence and temperament. I am passionate about giving our puppies the best possible start in life. I also have hundreds of photographs of Evangeline and our other two mini dachshunds, Penelope and Josephine, that I will happily share with you so you can see what wonderful dogs they are and how fully ensconced in our life they are! Hopefully this will give prospective new families a good idea of what sort of household their new puppy is being raised in… one with 3 children, chickens, a cat, guinea pigs, ponies and lots of love!

The puppies will be ready to join their new families at 8 weeks old, they will be health checked, vaccinated, wormed, PRA unaffected and KC registered. We love keeping in touch with all the puppies we have bred and their families.
