We are delighted to be offering yellow Labrador Retrievers in a deep fox red shade of yellow shade. The puppies are expected around 4th April 2025, with them ready to leave for their forever homes at eight weeks old on approximately 30th May 2025.
This is Zanzi's first litter. She is the perfect family dog, enjoying walks, is a dream to train and loves a cuddle up on the sofa in the evening. She is a calm and laid back pet who is often complimented on her behaviour when out and about. Zanzi is friendly with people and other dogs. She learns easily and has previously taken part in obedience, trick training and agility classes.
The sire - Mochuto Hot off the Press (or Morse) is a trained gun dog from working lines. Again, he has a great temperament with people and other dogs. He is focussed and easy to train – having a ‘home’ and ‘work’ mode, ensuring that his puppies will fit with ease into both working and active family homes. Morse has sired puppies working in assistance and therapy roles as well as working within Guide Dogs for the Blind. This was a meticulously planned litter with Morse being chosen for his personality, amazing health results, low COI result and he is a superb mahogany red which turns heads. The puppies are expected to take on his deep coat colour.
The expected puppies are likely to have drive and high energy levels so will need to be exercised daily and would thrive on being given a job such as gun dog training, scent work, canicross or agility for example. Zanzi is typically 25kg, while Morse weighs 34kg – puppies are expected to weigh within this range when fully grown.
I am proud to hold an Ofqual Regulated Level 3 Certificate in Dog Breeding, Litter Socialisation and Welfare and these principles will be followed to ensure that the puppies have the best start in life and grow to be confident, happy dogs. These puppies have been bred for health and temperament. They will raised in a busy family household with three children, brought up with all the usual sights and sounds of a home. They will make excellent active family companions, sporting partners or working dogs and will excel in challenges that they are faced with.
I will be following programmes of Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) and Early Scent Introduction (ESI) which can help develop brain development, stimulates their neurological systems and improves stress responses in later life.
I will be observing the puppies as they grow and develop in order provide you with information about the individual personalities in the litter and I will use this information to best match puppies to owners. Lifetime support will be offered to each puppy.

Update 17/04/25
Zanzi gave birth to nine puppies on 31/03/25 and they are all doing well - she is doing a fantastic job and they are putting on weight nicely. We have started the ENS and ESI which are going well.
Eyes and ears now open and they are wobbling around on unsteady legs.
All girls are sold. There are currently spaces for boys in this litter all of which are a deep mahogany red shade.
