We are delighted to announce the arrival of a litter of 9 Kennel Club registered Chocolate Labrador Retriever puppies on 29th January from extensively health tested parents – from a 0/0 hip scored sire and 3/3 hip scored dam.

We have over 10 years’ experience as Kennel Club Assured Breeders and provide 24/7 at home care, all our puppies are raised indoors with outdoor access and our adult dogs live in the house with no corners cut or expenses spared. We are a family with young children which allows our dogs and puppies to experience socialising with the whole family. Photos of our dogs and puppies are available upon request.

Our Chocolate Girl ‘Arya’ KC registered as EDENPARK RAPUNZEL has safely delivered her first litter of puppies, making this the fourth generation of chocolate Edenpark Labradors in our home. Arya has a loving and kind nature, she is brilliant with our two-year-old and seven-month-old daughters, is in fantastic health and comes from our own excellent working lines as she was bred by ourselves and we also have her grandmother, mother, aunt and sister here with us. Three of Arya’s younger brothers were previously selected by the Guide Dogs for the Blind to enter their training program due to the excellent family temperament and health scores through multiple generations.

Arya is an energetic and eager to please example of the breed. She is athletic and displays both speed and stamina as well as enthusiasm for entering water. At home she is brilliant with our children, with a sweet and friendly nature. She is a 'people' dog and enjoys welcoming people into our home as well as being affectionate with our entire family. She balances her enthusiasm for life and her endless energy with a wonderful temperament and quiet disposition around children. Her temperament is inherited from her mother and grandmother, who are also wonderful family dogs. We will be keeping a puppy from this litter ourselves to join our family, something we are very excited about!

* EBV = Estimated Breeding Values. These are a Kennel Club standard which predict whether a dog is more or less likely to have, and pass on genes related to hip/elbow dysplasia. A dog with an EBV that is a minus number has a lower than average risk of having genes linked to hip/elbow dysplasia. The higher the EBV, the higher the risk.

The Sire ‘Webley’ KC registered as SAINT LAURENCE AT VERRAD also a Chocolate Labrador, is from the well-known Verrad Labradors and is of course also extensively health tested as detailed below:

Webley is coat colour tested and does NOT carry the yellow/lemon/red/cream or apricot gene, which is very important as he can be safely used on all yellow or chocolate bitches without the risk of producing the very undesirable ‘Dudley’ appearance (lack of pigmentation in the nose, eyes, rims and feet, so they appear pink).

His sire is the multi working award winner, Grangemead Pluto, his dam being out of FTW Styleside Xanadu, a fantastic working chocolate pedigree.
He is a hard hunting, dedicated, fast game finder with an amazing natural ability. At home he has a very gentle, loving and eager to please temperament.

The coefficient of inbreeding (COI) for this litter is 5.6%, the breed average is 6.4%.
