Lynda Heron's Brigburn Labradors are known for their dual purpose good looks, working ability and biddable temperaments. Del has progeny both qualified and in training with Medical Detection Dogs, Dogs for good and guide dogs. Lynda has been breeding Labradors for over 40 years. Check out the type of dogs she produces at where you will see you her line of work and show labs over many generations. Brigburn Labradors have produced several Full Champions, as well as working test winners and her dogs are regularly worked out picking up during the shooting season.

All Labrador Breed Council health testing guidelines for health testing have been adhered in breeding this litter. Both parents are hip scored have zero elbows and current clear eye test. At least one parent is tested clear for all seven DNA tests. This means that the pups can never be affected by the diseases which currently have approved DNA tests . The litter has excellent EBV's for hips and elbows and an inbreeding COI of 0.9%.

These puppies are suitable for a wide range of homes. With the potential to make excellent peg/guns dogs, picking up dogs or superb calm pets.
We also have Phoebe's mother Tara, here to view as well. Tara was mated with GB FTCH Turpingreen Bohol and we kept Phoebe from that litter. Turpingreen Bohol became IGL Championship winner 2022,

Tara’s Breeding :
Her sire is from the Sealpin kennels, originally Edward and Elizabeth Martin (who had been training and breeding gundogs in the Scottish Borders for decades), and now run by Joe Hipwell, a fantastic dog trainer, who’s dog training displays can be seen at the Royal Highland Show yearly.

Tara’s mother was our original family Labrador Sorrelcott Te Bheag (Te)

Te Bheag’s Breeding:
Te was bred by Helen Goodwin. Helen started the Sorrelcott line and has immense experience in training and trialling and has now been breeding beautiful Labs for decades. Te ‘s father was FTCH Waterford Fergus, bred by the awesome Jane Coley. Jayne is a labrador and retriever expert and top level field trialer. She has been both a competitor and a judge at the very pinnacle of the sport, the IGL Retriever Championship.

We have had 5 litters over the 14 years since we owned a Labrador, and have pups to keep this beautiful line in the family. I am very lucky to have had advice on breeding and sires, from some of the most experienced Labrador breeders around, and we are so happy to show these pups with their Mum and Grandma at home and relaxed.
