Sire is Ftch Mistigris Finn of Featherfly. Finn is owned and handled by Phil Highfield who describes him as a clever, responsive and handsome dog with a wonderful temprament and a pleasure to own. Finn has won many Field trials and qualified for the IGL championships in 2019 and 2021. Notably in 2019 he won the Banchory Bolo prize for the labrador that gained the most points in Field Trials for the 2019/20 season as well as a 1st Award and Best Looking Dog in the Awards at the Labrador Retriever Club All aged stake 2019. He continues to compete and gain awards. Phil is an experienced gundog trainer and KC ‘A’ Panel judge. His dogs are his pets as well as successful working dogs. Dam is my lovely, home bred Irwellspring Reflection ( Lily ). She is the daughter of my own Ostrowski Bravo of Irwellspring ( Luna) and FtCh Beileys Aguzannis of Fendawood(Beiley) who is owned and handled by David Latham, current England Retriever Team captain and IGL winner. Many of Beiley’s progeny are achieving fantastic results in KC Working Tests, Field Trials and agility. Lily is no exception. She has a wonderful temperament and is a lovely looking girl. She is always eager and willing to please but equally content and happy to settle in front of the fire; an absolute joy to be around.
She has gained awards in KC Working tests, the KC Working Gundog Test Certificate and KC Gold Good Citizen Award but most importantly, we’ve had lots of fun along the way. Over the summer she has been patiently helping my newly retired husband with his first experiences of gundog training!

Our aim is to produce healthy, great temperament, trainable and good looking working Labradors. Both Dam and Sire have been fully health tested with excellent Hip and Elbow results, clear BVA eye tests and clear KC breed recommended DNA tests. We have been careful in selecting a mating with a low co-efficient of inbreeding at 6% and low risk estimated breeding values for hip and elbow dysplasia with a high percentage of confidence. The above are all important factors in achieving these aims. The puppies cannot be affected by any of the genetic tests for which the Kennel Club recommend testing i.e prcd-PRA, CNM, SD2, HNPK, EIC, STGD, MCD.

The puppies will be lovingly raised in our home alongside Lily’s Mum (Luna) and sister (Heidi). They will be carefully socialised and habituated with household sights, sounds, animals and visitors to provide every opportunity to develop into healthy, confident dogs. Homes for the puppies will be diligently selected to secure the most suitable loving, working, activity, country or active family homes where they will have a lifetime of care and can reach their full potential as working dogs or loyal companions. Lily has already proved herself to be a most wonderful mother with lovely testimonials having been received from all previous puppy owners.

As a Kennel Club Assured, council licensed and vet inspected breeder we are committed to meeting the highest standards. The puppies will be raised in our home with a great deal of love and care. They will be well adjusted, socialised and tenderly handled.
