Firstly a little about Bestevenn. I am a small licenced home/domestic breeder. I have 3 Labradors (Freyja, Si Si and Emmi). They are all much loved family dogs and sleep on beds at night and come to work with me during the day. I run my own small business selling dogs treats and toys which enables me to work from home whenever I have puppies.

Freyja (Bestevenn Scarlet Freyja) is 5 yrs old. She is calm, quiet and gentle, some might say a little lazy. She is purely a domestic pet and doesn't work, but still retains a very good nose for hunting out treats and things she shouldn't have. She loves a cosy bed and isn't happy unless she is sat as close to me as possible on the sofa. She guards the stockroom door at work in case someone should forget to close it properly and she will then go in for an impromptu pick and mix session.

The stud (Mochuto Hot of the Press) is a stunningly handsome and clever dog. He is gentle and kind with an impeccable temperament.

These puppies will be born and brought up in a home environment and will be well socialised with people, different environments and other pets. I spend 24 hours a day with the puppies and sleep next to them to ensure their safety. This constant presence allows me to be very hands-on with the puppy training as they approach the end of their time with me.

Puppies will be available from 8 weeks and will be KC registered, Vet checked, fully wormed and microchipped. They will leave with comprehensive puppy packs and the assurance that I am available for the whole life of your dog for questions, problems and advice.

I am a very inclusive breeder and I keep my puppy families involved and up to speed in every little part of the puppies development, right from conception through to the day they leave me. I enjoying sharing the process and educating people about everything that is involved. I specialise in families who have never owned a dog before as these families often need the extra support (certainly in the beginning) that I offer.

In addition to being watched by a human, the puppies are watched extensively by cameras. These cameras are available to be accessed by puppy families every day, so that you can watch your puppy grow and develop.

I am very proud to be a higher standard 5 star licensed breeder. This is the highest level there is and means that both a vet and an environmental health inspector have been round (sometimes unannounced) to inspect my house, equipment, procedures and anything else they can think of. I hope this gives assurance to those purchasing from me that these puppies get the love and attention they deserve, not just on visiting day, but every day.

Finally, Bestevenn translates to 'Best Friend' in Norwegian. My aim as a breeder has always been to breed your next best friend and companion. I think of all my families as an extension of my own family and like to think of us as a community. We have reunions both big and small.
