One lovely chap has sadly been returned to us to rehome due to unexpected change in the circumstances of his heartbroken owners.
He is a very sweet, gentle boy and an absolute pleasure to have around. He is definitely very keen to learn and to please and loves to interact with people enjoying cuddles, games and learning new things.
He is house and crate trained, has already mastered most basic commands, including waiting for his food (not an easy thing for a retriever!!!) and has a good recall.
He is microchipped, fully vaccinated, has been regualrly wormed and treated for fleas and ticks. He has been health checked by two vets who both gave him a clean bill of health. He is KC Registered and will come with a 5 generation pedigree certificate.
He has been well socialised and is good with other dogs, children and chickens!
He is not bothered by loud noises including petrol lawn mowers, generators, traffic or thunder.
He is a truly lovely chap who will fit easily into any home and make it better.
Details on the litter / parents:
Although Mum, Lili, has been brought up as a family pet she also enjoys a very active outdoor life; Living in a very rural area she enjoys long walks in the hills and woods and can find water anywhere!
In the home she is very loving and gentle and has a fantastic temperament with children of all ages and other animals. She is clearly very intelligent, learns quickly and is very keen to please.
Dad, Sprio is a handsome stud of equally good temperament. He is friendly and biddable and although mainly a family pet, he has also had some success in field trials.
Their previous litter went to both home and working environments and their new families are all very pleased with them.
Both parents have been health tested and Kennel Club registered.
The puppies were raised in our busy home and were socialised with other adults, young and grown up children, other dogs and chickens. They were (safely) introduced to sheep, loud noises, cars and traffic at the optimum age and received plenty of love, attention and exercise.
