We are delighted to announce the safe arrival of Keira's first litter with Aszu from Hookside Kennels. Both Dam and Sire have absolutely superb bloodlines in both Working and Showing, with only a 1.112% COI (Coefficient of Inbreeding). The breed average is 4.7% COI.

Dam has a hipscore 0/0 and elbow score of 0. Sire's hipscore is 8/9 with elbow score of 0.

"Aszu was imported to England in September 2017. He is from exceptional Hungarian lines. His father is an International Working Champion who I have seen in the field and he is a dog of outstanding ability. His mother is also and International Champion descending from the very famous Csatarkai line of Bernarth Kati. Hedvig Balasz who owns the Csipkeskuti name is one of the most successful breeders of modern times.
Aszu is very correct in his conformation, with a very even russet gold coat. His temperament is without question and he has been very easy to train. He worked on the shoot last season and he was born with all the instincts to hunt, point and retrieve.
He was bought in to compliment the working ability of the Hookside line as a complete outcross from Hungary. As a dog to live with he is very easy going and undemanding."

Keira has successfully been shown and is now a working dog. Keira's father is Ciboney Fagan at Shadymoore who won Best of Breed at Crufts, with numerous Champions in her bloodlines. Keira adores being out on the field and has attended WT's and worked on her first shoot last season. She also enjoys trail running with us as well as running with us when out mountain biking off road. Keira has impeccable manors, incredibly easy to train and has been brought up with children and other dogs. She is extremely loving, sweet natured and only wants to please. Keira was also born with all the instincts to hunt, point and retrieve. She loves swimming too.

Both Dam and Sire are very promising young dogs.

Puppies will be raised in our family home and will be used to noise with lots of comings and goings. Puppies will be well socialised. Puppies will be ready to leave for their forever homes at 8 weeks old.

Hungarian Vizsla's are very active dogs and are not suitable for anyone working away from home full time. They require lots of exercise every day and need to keep their brains stimulated. They love having the company of humans.
