We have a superb litter of black puppies born 21st February which will be ready to go to their new homes on 18th April. Just 3 dog pups are available as most of the litter is already reserved. This is a litter with excellent bloodlines - the sire is the top flatcoat in the show ring 2016.
We breed for temperament, health and intelligence to produce family pets, show dogs or working dogs. Pups will be Kennel Club registered, vet health checked and microchipped and will come with their puppy passport. We also provide notes to help you prepare for your puppy and to settle it into your routine.
The mum, Sally is a beautiful, gentle and calm dog with a lovely temperament and a very able retriever with exceptional scenting ability. She is from Torwood working lines. She has an excellent hip score of 2-3 and is clear on her eye test.
The sire is the outstanding Show Champion, Almanza Final Impact. Imported from Sweden with European Champion bloodlines, he is a superb example of the breed. He has an excellent hip score of 5-3 and clear eye test. The co-efficient of inbreeding for this litter is 1.2% which is far better than the breed average of 6.4% (the lower the better!)
We spend a lot of time with the pups and they will be bold and confident when they are ready to leave us. They will be used to lots of different people, hens, horses, ducks and geese. We have them playing in the fields and we take them out in the car a few times too.
We have lots of happy puppy owners from litters we have bred from our other bitches over the years and we are always pleased to keep in touch. We have owners all over the UK and abroad in France, Australia, New Zealand and the Middle East.
You are welcome to visit once the pups are 3 weeks old after 14th March. We send weekly videos and photos to everyone who has reserved a puppy, so that they can enjoy the development of the pups as they are growing.
