My gorgeous black Labrador Ronja (Barleybay Bernadette at Smultronstig) had her first litter on 19 July 2014. The 7 puppies are a mix of a superb line of show Labradors and an excellent line of the working type.

Ronja, out of Ch Bilbo Baggins by Baileydale (ShCM) (JW) and Baileydale Golly Gosh (JW), comes from a long line of show Labradors including several Champions and Show Champions.

The Sire of the pups is Tarnedge Firth, nicknamed Jazz. A yellow Labrador, Jazz comes from a long line of excellent working dogs, including several Field Trial Champions, with some show Labs several generations back.

Both Ronja and Jazz have fantastic health scores, as can be seen above.

Ronja is of medium build with a wonderful temperament. She enjoys regular obedience and agility training. Ronja is a very treasured family dog and lives indoors together with our much loved chocolate Labrador Oskar.

The litter is a mix of blacks and yellows. Two of them will be staying with us and I'm expecting the puppies to be very healthy and have excellent temperaments, being intelligent, energetic, eager to please and very affectionate. The puppies will be ready to meet potential new families from 4 weeks old, but will spend at least their first 8 weeks in our home in rural Co Down. By the time they go to their new homes they will be well socialised and will have begun learning basic commands. The puppies will be KC registered, vet checked, microchipped, wormed and will have had their first vaccination before they leave us. They will come with a puppy pack containing Five generation pedigree, four weeks free insurance, a supply of puppy food and lots of information and advice, which I hope will be helpful when bringing a young Labrador into your life.
