Our gentle bitch Mazda gave birth to 8 gorgeous puppies on Good Friday...a special Easter present for the family. A natural mother she has taken to feeding and caring for them all like a duck to water! Happy to share with the children, these puppies will not only be good gun dogs, but extremely good family pets. If they take after their dad they could go on to have huge show potential as Cooper (Muskan Make My Day JW) continues to win at many shows, including Mid limit class at Crufts 2010.

15.04.2010 Day 12 and the puppies are starting to open their eyes.Mazda continues to feed and clean them rigorously and they are growing at a fast rate almost three times the size at birth! Lovely soft golden fur is starting to grow & they are having lots of cuddles & bringing much pleasure :)

16.04.2010 Weighed them today & they vary between 875g and 1100g!....they didn't think much of the Panacur worming medication, after all mother's milk is the best.

19.04.2010 All the puppies are toddling around now and starting to play with each other ...one even found a bark! Madza continues to be an exceptional mother :0)

24.04.2010 Commando puppies today! Breaking out of the whelping box at every available opportunity.....so out to the garage tomorrow!..with Mazda & a heat lamp for the chilly nights. Their coats are becoming more fluffy and they are starting to develop individual characters.

26.04.2010 Puppies have started on solids today preferring to paddle & swim in the rice pudding and weetabix!!.......will have to teach them table manners before they go to their new homes! They are becoming tubbier balls of fluff and several have been given names by their prospective owners...Isla, Mini, Tennyson,Ruby & Bella (Beautiful).....gorgeous just like Goldies should be.

08.05.2010 Tennyson has been chosen & the last girl is named Darcy. They have been outside playing rough & tumble with mum. weighing from 2600-3220g today before worming again. Only one gorgeous boy left so he is getting extra cuddles ;0) Doing really well with toilet training often using the newspaper now!

09.05.2010 Our puppies have enjoyed meeting their new owners this weekend....playing well together outside and started using their own bowls today...now to teach them to wait & manners!

10.05.2010 Getting much stronger & decided to push their way out of the run area and enjoy the sunshine! They all continue to eat 4 meals a day & are still enjoying mum's milk.

16.05.2010 Puppies have had a lovely weekend playing in the garden! Getting much bolder and showing individual characters! Tennyson is the foodie! Isla & Ruby like to chew (owners should get some chewy toys!) and Scout & Jake like to playfight a lot! 'Daddy' Cooper came to visit today ;0)

27.05.2010 All been weighed & wormed or & ready for their new homes. I'm really going to miss their little faces in the morning and all their different characters...could never foster children as it will be hard enough to say goodbye to our pups. .....they have been a pleasure to have and we definitely plan to do it again. All puppies will have a photobook of the last 8 weeks that they have spent as part of our family and I am sure that we have chosen new homes for them well. Good luck & God bless x
