How do you check the breeders on Champdogs ?

All breeders are required to abide by the Champdogs Terms and Conditions of Membership.

All breeders affix (kennel names) are checked to make sure they are genuine. If a breeder lists an affix they have to prove that it is Kennel Club recognised and that they have been officially granted that use of the affix.

All litters are checked to make sure they are KC breed registered and not registered with an alternate registration system.

We recommend that all breeders carry out the necessary health tests for their breed. All health test results listed on Champdogs have been checked and verified as true.

All members who hold advanced membership are checked annually to ensure they have not broken any of our Ts & Cs. However we still depend on the trust of our members to adhere to our terms and conditions. With over 20,000 members there will always be some who abuse that trust. We investigate all complaints and also carry out spot checks. If a breeder is found to be in breach of our terms and conditions they are removed from the site.
