Australian KC Elbow Dysplasia Scheme (CHEDS)

The ANKC elbow scoring scheme uses a similar scoring system to the BVA/KC scheme in the UK.

The grading system is as follows:

• 0 - Normal
• 1 - Mild ED
• 2 - Moderate ED or a primary lesion
• 3 - Severe ED

The ANKC publish a list of the Elbow Scores in the last 5 years by breed.

• 0/0 = 0
• 0/1 = 1
• 0/2 = 2
• 0/3 = 3
• 1/0 = 1
• 1/1 = 1
• 1/2 = 2
• 1/3 = 3
• 2/0 = 2
• 2/1 = 2
• 2/2 = 2
• 2/3 = 3
• 3/0 = 3
• 3/1 = 3
• 3/2 = 3
• 3/3 = 3
