Primary Hyperoxaluria

Primary Hyperoxaluria ( PH ) is inherited as a recessive disease in the Coton de Tulear. Affected animals build up excess calcium oxalate in a number of tissues, but especially the kidneys where calcium oxalate stones form. This leads to progressive renal insufficiency.
