Teddy is a much-loved member of our family — a nearly five-year-old cream Golden Retriever who lives with us in Preesall, Lancashire. I also have a beautiful young female, a richer golden in colour, and I’m planning to breed in 2027.

When I’m out walking my two Goldens, people stop me all the time to comment on their striking looks — I can’t help but burst with pride! We’re lucky to live near the beach, and Teddy especially loves a good swim. He’s a superb retriever and would make an excellent gundog if I were into shooting.

What makes Teddy truly special, though, is his wonderful temperament. He’s happy from the moment he wakes up until he finally drifts off to sleep at night. Gentle, loving, and endlessly cheerful — we’re so fortunate to have him in our lives.

Teddy’s pedigree is also impressive: his sire placed second in Best of Breed at Crufts 2023. His health tests are excellent — hips 5/3, elbows 0. His next eye test is booked for May 2026 (previous results were clear, with no issues detected, so we expect the same again).

Teddy has already produced some gorgeous puppies and is ready to be a dad again after a year of chemical castration. Only health-tested ladies, please!
