Gus has qualified for the IGL Retriever Championship for 3 consecutive years. This year winning first time out, the Barton-on-Humber Gundog Club's 2 day qualifying stake at Appleby. Gus only competed twice this year, his second competition being the IGL Championship where he had the opportunity to show what he's made of - a big heart, drive and game finding ability. Last summer he also made the England Team for the Skinners World Cup 2024.
He is an important member of my picking up team, being out twice a week throughout the season, alongside competing in trials. An exceptional game finding dog with a real passion for his work. He has a beautiful, genuine nature, always wanting to please. Gus is producing good looking, biddable pups that show enthusiasm and drive for training.
