Gem is now a veteran, and is matriach here at Otterholme. The youngsters have a gentle respect for her.
Gem is happiest on the sofa or in the fields, she did achieve a Show Certificate of Merit during her showing years.



With the heaviest of hearts, Steve and I had to say our final farewell to our 'Gemster'. We were not ready to say our goodbyes, at 11 years we hoped to share a few more years, but it wasn't to be.
When the tears dry, we can look back at how lucky we were to have had her in our lives.
The kindest natured girl who loved every single human and dog she met. What a privilege to have shared her life. Love by the bucketful, fun, adventures and friendships forged through our shared love for The Little Brown Dogs.
Gem was a fan of our local, when she quickly cottoned on to the fact that Mondays there was left over meat from Sunday Lunches to be had from the Landlord, which resulted in her putting on her brakes every time we walked past the pub. We will miss her quirks, her funny little ways, she was never happier than when she was rolling in mud and pottering in the fields.
She leaves a massive Gem shaped hole in our hearts and sofa.
Matriarch of the pack, who's presence is keenly missed. We are forever grateful to Marie Sharp for this special girl.
Lots and lots we could say but just now its simply ''Love you to the moon and back sweetheart. We will miss your physical presence , but you are safely tucked up in our hearts. Sleep Tight X'
