Bryelis I’m On My Way at Riveralca

I adore Chinese Crested Dogs and currently share my life with 3 of them and also a cheeky Smooth Coat Chihuahua boy. They are a very entertaining and endearing breed and life is never dull with Chinese Cresteds!

My Chinese Crested Powderpuff boy, Olly (11 years old) and my Chihuahua, Rico (8 years old), are rescue dogs.

I very sadly lost my oldest rescue Powderpuff boy, Leo, due to ill health in February 2025. He was my first Crested and was a huge part of my life for many years and taught me so much.

Matilda is my long awaited little black and white Hairless girl, who joined our family at 8 weeks old in the Autumn of 2020. She fitted in with life with myself and my boys perfectly.

All my dogs live in the house as family members and have free run of the home. I don’t rehome my adult dogs, they are with me for life.

I also have Matilda’s daughter, Pandora (Riveralca Morar JW), who was born on 9th April 2023 and is also a delight to live with.

Both Matilda and Pandora have lovely temperaments and plenty of attitude! They are intelligent, agile and fun to train.

We made our way into the conformation show ring in the Summer of 2021 and we’re enjoying the adventure. Both Matilda and Pandora are Crufts qualified for life.

I am extremely passionate about continuing to improve the overall health and temperament of the Chinese Crested Dog. I believe extensive health testing to be of paramount importance to improve the health and welfare of our beloved breed, whilst still also keeping to breed type. They are a wonderful, unique breed and I cannot imagine never sharing my life with them. They are a very loving companion breed and not suited to kennel life.
