Toots is the baby of our family at not yet 2 years old. Due to covid she has not been shown yet but she is a lovely girl and we are hoping to selectively show her in the coming year, subject to shows running.
We have been concentrating on her Agility training and she is showing a lot of promise, having lots of speed, drive and focus. She has her first agility competition coming up in the next few weeks.
At present Toots is having her health tests done, and is now fully DNA tested clear for everything except BCG where she is a carrier .
She is booked to be hip scored in the next couple of weeks also and then will be eye tested and Gonioscopy tested once she is 2 years old. Subject to Toots passing these tests she will be the future of Havocsmill going forward.
Toots is the long awaited daughter of my beloved Mabel and of Cameron ( Sh Ch Wizaland songs from the wood) She is clever, very biddable and loving with a cheeky sense of humour. Still very much a baby yet who is my constant companion, following me everywhere from as soon as she was able to.
She is proving to be a fantastic working dog giving 100%, yet has a good off switch.
I am hoping to take her to sheep in the not too distant future as she seems to have a lot of natural herding ability the same as her mum Mabel and great grandma Holly who have both dabbled in herding sheep.
