Dodger (Chocolate Button Pride) has now retired from stud duties. Fully Kennel Club registered.

Dodger is a fully trained and working Cocker Spaniel working his sixth shoot season. He is proven with a number of litters to his name. He is strong with great drive and a good nose for hunting. Sperm tested January 2024.

Solid chocolate in colour. Great family dog as well as worker. Great reputation on local shoots.

Recent lineage includes 7 Field Trial Champions including the famous Argyll Warrior and Argyll Chieftain, with some 35 Ft Ch in his last 5 generation pedigree. His family background is solid black (his mum - Invincible Inca) and solid chocolate (his dad, Jazz Button Pride).

Dodgers son, Fizz (Red Button Sunshine) is solid red and is available for stud.

Stud fee of £350 payable on first mating, second mating offered 48 hours after first. Short notice often available.

Both are health checked for Acral Mutilation Syndrome, Degenerative Myelopathy, Exercise Induced Collapse, Familial Nephropathy, Glycogen Storage Disease VII (PFKM) and Progressive Retinal Atrophy (PRA-PRCD), meaning he will not develop these disorders, and does not carry it.

Dodger and Fizz have also passed their BVA /KC /ISDS Eye Examination and eye gonioscopy with no breed related conditions (Adnexal or Ocular).

They have also been tested as clear for Paradoxical Pseudomyotonia.
