One of Phoebe's beautiful girls, affectionately known as Waltzin.
Matilda is a beautifully constructed Great Dane bitch, at just under 37 inches at the shoulder, and with her dad's fantastic movement, she was made to show. In her first show under Helen Laidlaw she was placed and the write up was lovely, being described as a tall girl, lovely pretty head, firm topline and tight catlike feet, however as the critique stated, Matilda and the show ring just did not gel, meaning Matilda's first show was also her last.
Matilda is now our beautiful stay at home work of art.
On 14th August 2012, we said goodbye to our beautiful girl, her passing was so unexpected, and she will leave a big hole in our hearts and in our home, sleep well Matilda, we will see you in time at the bridge xx
