Weidovan Kennel are pleased to announce the launch of Quick Silver Lady (Ir Sh Ch Weidovan Quick Silver Hugel CW15, 17 JD Jun Ch X Ir Sh Ch Jack In The Box Du Val Gehel'n At Huntly) aka "Holly"

In May 2018, Holly at just seven months old, took Best of Breed and 2nd in Gun Dog Group at Lisburn Open Show.

She went on to take Puppy Bitch Stakes and then went on to win Best Puppy in Show!

Critique by judge Michael Western at Northern Ireland Gundog Field & Show Society Show that was held on 24th June 2018.

"Caffrey's Quick Silver Lady - Very elegant pup with a lovely head and expression, long strong neck set into am excellent front assembly which balanced with her well angulated hind end. Well bodies up and very sound on the move for one so young. Best of Breed and Best Puppy in Breed"

On Saturday 4th August 2018 at Ards All Breed Championship Show Holly won Puppy Bitch Stakes which qualified her for IKC Pup of the Year in 2019.

On Sunday 5th August 2018 at Dun Laoghaire All Breed Championship Show
Holly took 1st in her Junior Class and is Weidovan's 3rd Home Bred Junior Champion

At the Belfast Dog Show Society Champ Show in Lisburn Holly took 1st in Limit Bitch and then went on to take the Bitch Challenge Certificate (CC).

This is her first ever CC, gained one day before her first birthday - a great birthday present for me too.

Holly went on to take 3rd in the Fosse Data Puppy Stakes under judge Mr E. Paterson.

On Saturday (Day 1) of the Autumn Internationals in Dublin, Holly took 1st in Junior and went on to take 4th in Junior Stakes.

On Sunday (Day 2) Holly took her FIRST ever Green Star and her first Best of Breed at just 12 months old and although too young for the CACIB, acquitted herself very well in the Group 7 final.

At the Irish Gundog and Field Show held at Cloughran Championship Holly took 1st in Junior under world renowned judge Mr Frank Kane.

She repeated this result at Cloughran in November 2018.

At the Holland Cup 2018;

Holly took 1st in Junior Bitch, Reserve CAC and went on to win Best Junior in Breed. She is now a Holland Cup Best of Breed Junior Winner 2018.She represented the breed as junior that evening in the big ring.
(All this and just 15 months old)

At the Irish Gundog Field & Show Society Open Show in January 2019 Holly took Best of Breed and 2nd in Group 7.

In March 2019 at my first time competing in Crufts, Holly at only 17 months did our kennel proud on Crufts' green carpet and went elegantly to take the Reserve in a strong Junior Class of 12 under judge Ms E. Rennie Jones.

At the Irish Ladies Kennel Association 2019 Holly took her 7th Green Star, crowning her Irish Show Champion.

Holly's full title will be Ir Sh Ch. Weidovan Quick Silver Lady CJW '19 IR Jun Ch.

To date Holly has gained 15 Green Stars - 15 Best of Breeds, Multiple Group 7 Placings, 1 x Challenge Certificate (Belfast 2018 at 11 months) 2 x CACIBs,Qualified Pup of the Year 2018,Best Puppy In Show - Lisburn 2018 & Qualified for Crufts for life gaining her Stud book Number in 2018.


In 2019 Holly was the top winning Weimaraner in Ireland and became Annual Champion.

Weidovan Kennel was been named the top winning Weimaraner kennel in Ireland for 2019.

Holly left us to cross the Rainbow Bridge on Tuesday 4th September 2024.

We'll miss you Holly Berry.
