Our beautiful boy Xander has surpassed all of our expectations in the show ring.

When he was a puppy, he was consistently placed 1st or 2nd at Open and Champ shows and won best puppy dog at The Welsh Kennel Club in 2016 under Judge Irene Glen and best puppy in breed and RBOB at Midland Counties 2016 under Judge Clare Bainbridge.

Xander also won several RBOB at open shows after winning many Junior and post graduate classes.

2017 has been a fabulous year for Xander. He came 1st and 2nd in his classes at crufts and also gaining his last Junior Warrant points at the Weimaraner Association Champ show in April 2017.

He then went on to Win the prestigious Weimaraner Association Puppy of the Year 2016 under judges Richard Stafford , Rachel Newman and Julie Turner.

The highlight of the year was Xander winning his first CC aged 23 Months under James Kelly at Gundog Breeds Association of Scotland whilst still in yearling class.

In his critique, James Kelly wrote : 1 ASTRAZONE INVIERNO IN JENLUIS JW - 23 mths Ok so this was my surprise of the day! This young man ticks all the boxes. Balanced dog of correct height to length ratio. Correct depth and width of chest. Well laid shouder and goodlength of upper arm. Decent strong hindquarters. Nice tight feet and excellent bone. He became my CC winner today because he has a wonderful head and once he started to move he really came into his own. Covered the ground with ease and keeping his topline but most of all his enthusiasm. No nervous energy, a calm thoughtful boy, but just press the button and he�s off. His head is lovely, beautiful correct proportions. Nicely chiselled features lacking in so many dogs. Not too broad in the skull or too narrow. Gorgeous long lobular ear leathers. Beautiful colour with a metallic sheen.

Xander has started 2018 will a bang and came first in his debut in limit class at Boston DCS age just 2 years and amongst some quality dogs under judge Ed Casey.

Xander is a stunning example of the breed with a beautiful level topline, an aristocratic head with a fantastic true and steady movement. He has a fabulous pedigree with many show champions in his lines.

Xander is firstly and foremost, a beloved family pet with a lovely temperament and personality.

Update:East of England Champ Show - Xander wins another strong limit class and his second CC under breed specialist judge Sally Damms. In her critique Sally wrote:
1st � Holman�s Astrazone Invierno in Jenluis JW (DCC). All male well-boned presenting a picture of power. Aristocratic head with chiselling. Correct ear for make and length. Excelled in forehand assembly. Chest well developed and deep. Ribs well sprung extending back making correct back length with accompanying short loin. Firm first and second thigh and short driving hocks. Presented in excellent order. Powered himself around the ring effortlessly, remaining strong in top line. Never stopped showing from the moment he came into the ring for Limit until he left with his CC.
