Oakley is a standard sized wheaten bitch, with a typical ridgeback personality. A joy to have around the house with the most amazing temperament, particularly with children.

There have been many highs within her show career. At the Hound Association of Scotland at the tender age of 9 months she won the reserve challenge certificate gaining her stud book number as well as going reserve best puppy in show.

In 2015 she was Our Dogs Top Puppy. She was awarded her Junior Warrant at 10 months and in the same year qualified for the 2015 Junior Warrant competition. A second reserve CC came in June 2015 from breed specialist David Bates. In August 2015 she won her 1st Challenge Certificate from another breed specialist Anthea Fox.


Oakley continued to do well in the show ring, gaining more firsts as she moved up through the classes.


At CRUFTS 2017, Oakley was exhibited in the Limit Bitch class under all rounder judge Robin Searle, a great result winning the class, to my complete shock she competed against all the other bitch winners and was awarded the coveted award of CRUFTS BITCH CHALLENGE CERTIFICATE.

Oakley is a joy to show, and has given me so much pleasure, I am truly honoured and proud to have bred this truly special girl.

OAKLEY GAINS HER UK CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE

Ch Mutoko's Lledwenau Lowri JW - Oakley won the all important 3rd CC as the Midlands and Northern Ridgeback Club Championship show in July 2018.

Our judge for the day was Espen Eng a well respected hound judge who had no hesitation in awarding Oakley first in her open class, then the CC in the bitch challenge. Oakley then went on to be declared BEST IN SHOW.

Oakley has been a dream to show, her achievements have been superb right from a young puppy through to her championship. My shadow and my soul mate, my protector. Words cannot describe the love and adoration I have for this girl.
