Wigeon is a very loyal bitch. She is a lovely shape, compact and fairly square, with a deep chest and wide shoulders. She is a stylish, honest and quick hunter. She has a lovely natural quartering action, ideal for working tests. Wigeon was extremely easy to train as a pup and was a complete natural. Her litter mates are competing in tests and trials successfully and I have no doubt she would also be super at this. However I am more into working her on shoots and at home (we are game keepers) she is exceptionally steady naturally to game and dummies. I have taken part in a scurry with her and she came 2nd at sherborne fair at 14 months old, she's super quick and very intelligent.

She has completed her first season full season picking up 2017/2018 and seemed like she had done it forever. She is particularly good at finding partridge and does not think twice at hitting thick cover hard. She is the sort of dog that can do anything, picking up, beating, dogging in, tests, on the peg etc. I was so excited to see what her first litter will turn into, I expect them to be fantastic workers and loyal companions. She only works for me and she puts 110% into it.
